The Kenai Chest Holster was designed as the ultimate way to carry a firearm when hiking, hunting, fishing, or any other outdoor activity.

We settled on a blend of Kydex and Nylon for excellent retention characteristics, weatherproofing, and lightweight. The Kenai Chest Holster is a perfect pairing with a modern firearm such as the Glock 40MOS or a classic big-bore revolver such as the Ruger Super Redhawk.

While not offering the customization options that a Custom Kenai Chest Holster offers, this is an excellent option for our customers who aren’t as picky with their colors or patterns and want their holster fast. We stock holsters for the most popular firearms from Glock, HK, Ruger, Smith and Wesson, SIG Sauer, Springfield, etc.

  • 1911 DIMENSIONS ARE IDENTICAL REGARDLESS OF CALIBER, BE IT .45ACP, 9MM, OR 10MM.
  • Every Kenai Chest Holster comes with a harness. If you already have a Kenai harness, and just want an additional shell, then you can choose not to buy another harness. If this is your first Kenai, you will want the harness.

  • Holster Accessories

  • Magazine Pouch holds Semi-auto Pistol Magazines laterally on the harness under the arms, universal fit with easy forward velcro pull tab. You can run one per side if preferred and maximize your ammo loadout. (See gallery for image)
  • Universal speed loader pouch designed to carry up to a .44 magnum speed loader laterally on the harness. (See gallery for image) WILL NOT FIT .500 MAG OR SHOTSHELLS, THAT ONE IS IN DEVELOPMENT and will be available soon.
  • Holds 7 extra rounds of .38 Special or 6 extra .500 S&W shells, They mount laterally on the harness under the arms. You can run one carrier per side if preferred. (See gallery for image)

My wife gave me a Kenai chest rig for my 1911 as a Christmas present which I wear while driving and when I go hiking. Depending on my workout, I wear various size rucks; I love my chest rig! It is comfortable, easy to put on/take off, and to care for. I also have two ammo pouches I've added to the side straps.

Purchased one for my taurus judge. Hands down the best decision I have made. Very comfortable and pistol is very secure. While outdoors I can wear all day and it doesn't get in the way, or catch on anything like a hip holster does. This is just the first one, guaranteed to be more. Great job on design and construction.

We own 3 Kenai chest rigs. It is our go-to for woods carry. Recently the knuckles on one of my holsters broke. I called GFI on a Monday. They answered and promptly issued a shipping label to send it back in. I sent it off the next day and received the holster back repaired today, about 1 week later. You cant beat that level of service. Quality product and they stand behind it.

Retired Law Enforcement here. I carry a Wilson CQB 1911 with me everywhere I go. Nobody has a clue that I have it on. 10-12 hours is no issue and you’re free to do whatever. Should you need it you have it. Highly recommend.

I have been a fan of Gunfighter holsters for awhile now. I made a last minute decision to order the Kenai chest Holster for my son for Christmas. I placed my order on December 18th and it just arrived via FedEx today Dec. 22nd. Their customer service is beyond reproach. I received email updates during every step of the process. I am so pleased with the quality and its tactical uses. This holster is awesome. I would highly recommend to anyone and will buy again.
