Ready to Ship Ronin OWB

Fantastic holster! Let me preface this by saying I am 50, and have owned guns for years, but am not overly experienced. I don't shoot often. Maybe 1-2x/yr. I have searched for years, buying and selling different guns every so often trying to find the right gun to fit my 6'6" 400+lb man garden-rake-sized hands. I think I have finally found that. The next step was finding the right concealment holster. Being that I am gigantic, comfortably carrying IWB has been challenging over the years, so I kind of gave up on it. I had landed on a hybrid holster that I enjoyed in the past for other guns, but the company that made them was bought out, the manufacturing process has changed, and they have fallen from glory (in my mind). I recently ordered the newer iteration of that holster-that-shall-not-be-named for another gun, and was terribly unimpressed. I decided to try OWB this time around, knowing that it can be difficult to conceal OWB, especially for a big, bulging dude with "dunlap" belly. I don't have love handles. I have love shoulder straps. I read fantastic reviews about the Ronin, and watched a few videos, and I was convinced. When I received it, I was so immediately impressed. It is clearly very well made. The twist they put on the belt loops is a phenomenal innovation. The curve they put to the holster is perfect, even for my huge frame. It fits against my body tightly. Retention is maybe a little tight, but I just need to practice with it. Like I said, my experience is minimal. Maybe it's normal. The draw and reholster are smooth. That gun ain't goin' nowhere. I would absolutely trust this thing with my life and the life of my family. That being said, I wouldn't say that this necessarily conceals a full-sized 4" Walther PDP on somebody with a ginormous frame like mine. For a normal/average-sized person, I could totally see how it would work. No matter where I put it on my frame, the grip prints pretty dramatically because my chunk pushes it out. Less so when I wear it at 9:00 (lefty), but still noticeable. And when I wear it at 9:00, my dunlap rubs on the top of the holster and the rear sights of the gun, which, after time, I'm sure would not feel great. However, that is entirely the fault of my girth. Not the fault of the holster. If I were to try to conceal with this, I could if I wore a cover garment or an unbuttoned shirt or something over a t-shirt. But I would not try to wear this with just shorts and a t-shirt, with the holster and top of the gun rubbing on my bare chub. Maybe with an undershirt under the t-shirt. But again, my fault, not theirs. Apart from the sheer physics of trying to carry as a "morbidly obese man", like my doctor keeps calling me, the holster is absolutely killer. It actually kind of motivates me to try to lost some tons so I can carry with this. I'm sure it is one of the top OWB holsters you could come across. Everything reeks of quality. Customer service is great. I love the communication about your order process, and shipping was quick. I would absolutely buy anything from these guys in the future. Next up I hope to try a Solace., as I have had good luck with hybrid IWBs being comfortable in the past. Given the build quality of the Ronin and my experience thus far with them, I expect it will exceed my expectations.

I love my Ronin OWB. I also have a Ronin with the Baba Yaga cut. The retention is superb and I don’t have fear that my pistol will come dislodged if I’m engaged is extra circular activities.

Just received my first holster from gunfightersinc, the Ronin OWB “Ready to Ship” for my Glock 19x and wow! First off the sleek feel and low profile absolutely exceeded my expectations especially being a larger dude where OWB holsters usually leave such a large print outside my shirt, and the retention is insanely impressive! The Ronin OWB is my go to, outstanding holster. I have standardized on this excellent holster for a SIG P-229, Canik TP9-SF elite and a SIG P-320. The fit is excellent, retention is outstanding and above all, extremely comfortable. For these holsters being kydex, the comfort is nearly comparable to a leather pancake holster. I recommend this holster to ANYONE seeking a well built and well designed OWB kydex holster.

Sent my custom ordered Ronin holster in to have the belt clips changed, I was notified it was on its way on the 24th and received it on the 25th. Amazing customer service. this is my 2nd holster, fit and finish are perfect.
