Optimized for Colt-spec AR15/M4 platforms, the GEN M3’s modified geometry also accommodates additional weapons, such as the HK® 416/MR556A1/M27 IAR, British SA-80, FN SCAR MK 16/16S, and others. Similar to the MOE PMAG, it features a long-life USGI-spec stainless steel spring, four-way anti-tilt follower, constant-curve internal geometry for reliable feeding, and tool-less disassembly for easy cleaning. Redesigned bolt catch notch and over-travel stop ensure compatibility and proper insertion, while low-profile ribs and aggressive front and rear texture provide positive control. A paint pen dot matrix on the bottom panel enables user identification.The redesigned flared floorplate aids extraction, handling, and drop protection, while maintaining compatibility with tight double and triple magazine pouches. Dual-side transparent windows facilitate quick determination of remaining rounds, with the high visibility indicator coil and numerical markers comprising the MagLevel® system, maintaining durability and reliability.
