The Magpul CTR (Compact/Type Restricted) – Mil-Spec model is a quick and easy replacement buttstock for AR15/M16 carbines that use Mil-Spec sized receiver extension tubes. It has a sleek A-frame profile that avoids snagging and protects the release latch from accidental activation. The CTR also has a supplemental friction lock system for weapon stability and an ambidextrous QD sling mount. The Mil-Spec model comes with a 0.3″ thick rubber butt-pad for a secure shoulder grip, even with armor or gear. Made in the USA.
