This switch has a 45-degree angle button interface. The upward angle of the button also serves as a tactile reference point, making it easier to locate in low-light conditions. Furthermore, the button is safeguarded by a raised bezel, preventing accidental activation. When used with weapon lights, it offers both half-press functionality for momentary activation and full press-to-click capability for constant activation. For lasers, HOT BUTTON™ supports both single press for momentary activation and double tap for constant activation. The Crane-type plug features a universal geometry that enhances compatibility with various laser ports.
