I live in the Pacific Northwest, where it rains all the time...ALL the time. The one benefit to that is that you can shoulder carry with ease for about 9 months a year. And that's just fine with me, because aside from a chest rig, nothing beats shoulder carry for comfort. Anyone who says otherwise has obviously never carried that way! I have 15 shoulder rigs from every company you can think of, and probably a few more. Although I love leather, there are some advantages to synthetics. These rigs are light as a feather, and the shell carries the firearm good and tight. Tight enough that I'm not bothered by the absence of a thumb release. For those of you who want to try something other than leather, there is a lot to love here. There are two downsides. First, it makes an awful lot of noise rattling around, but not once its on, then it is quiet as can be. The only other downside is that they don't make it for more models!
Dont see anything on glock model 45 gen 5 with streamlight trl7. Does it have a thumb lock
Is it possible to buy the rig and additional shells for various guns? The photos make it look like the shells can be switched out.
Light bearing versions are in devolpment.
Is it possible to configure this holster to accommodate a light? I don't see the option. I've got a gen5 glock 34 with a streamlight TLR-1 HL and a vortex venom. I like the looks of this holster. I'd like to buy one if I can get one compatible with my pistol.
The website doesn’t do the quality and comfort justice. I’ve always been a leather snob with holsters but couldn’t find a nice one for my new Canik. I bought this with low expectations. I was surprised big time. The comfort is excellent. The materials are quality but more importantly, they really make sense for the job. Someone put some real thought into it. The Kydex work is also excellent. The geometry also obviously had a ton of thought put into it and really lends to a natural draw. Definitely will buy another. I’d highly recommend it. Well worth the money. Also, had it inside 2 weeks.
