Browning

Browning is a well-known brand of firearms and outdoor gear that was founded in 1878 by John Moses Browning. Browning was born in Ogden, Utah, and began designing firearms at a young age. He created his first firearm, a single-shot rifle, at the age of 13, and went on to create over 100 different firearms designs during his lifetime.

In 1878, Browning partnered with the Winchester Repeating Arms Company to produce his designs, and the first Browning-branded firearms were introduced that year. These early products were well-received, and Browning continued to develop new designs for Winchester and other companies.

In the early 1900s, Browning began working with Belgian firearms manufacturer Fabrique Nationale de Herstal (FN) to produce his designs. This partnership was instrumental in the development of many of Browning’s most famous firearms, including the Browning Automatic Rifle (BAR) and the Browning High Power pistol.

Today, Browning is a leading manufacturer of hunting rifles, shotguns, handguns, and other firearms, as well as a wide range of outdoor gear and accessories. The company’s products are known for their reliability, accuracy, and performance, and its trademark buckmark logo has become a symbol of quality in the hunting and shooting sports community.
