The Kenai Chest Holster was designed as the ultimate way to carry a firearm when hiking, hunting, fishing, or any other outdoor activity.

We have designed our molds to provide the best retention and readiness for your pistol equipped with a tactical light.

We settled on a blend of Kydex and Nylon for excellent retention characteristics, weatherproof and lightweight. The Kenai Chest Holster is a perfect pairing with a modern firearm such as the Glock 20 and 40MOS or with a TLR-1 or X300 UA or UB.

No matter what you’re doing in the backcountry, the placement of the firearm on your chest helps you to be a hard target anywhere without compromising on your choice of firearm. You can carry as big of a firearm as possible with maximum comfort. The centered position on the chest allows for a quick draw from any position, even when wearing bulky winter clothing or seated in a vehicle.

Just received my Kenai Chest Holster in Camo print Kryptek Altitude-back shell OD Green w/OD green harness and a backup mag pouch ($221.00) This holster is absolutely beautiful and extremely comfortable, with smooth edges and exquisite work on this holster. I got this for my Springfield XDM 4.5" Elite 10mm w/Olight PL Mini 2 Valkyrie light and it fits perfectly! I believe anyone who ever goes out into the woods of any sort should have this chest rig. I looked into many bear attacks and the bear would pretty much always win even up against hunters with rifles because they can attack out of the blue with lighting speed...and not a single person had this type of life-saving chest rig. So bears beware ;)

Recently received my first GFI holster (custom Solace multicam black w/black leather backer). It's honestly of better craftsmanship than I expected, and is a thing of beauty. I almost don't want to use it it looks so nice haha. I'm impressed and wish I'd have came across these folks much sooner...I have several other holsters that will now go in a box in the closet and never be used again. Excellent product, fair price, and arrived/shipped must faster than expected. Thanks GFI...more orders will be coming!!

As a big game outfitter, I spend up to 12 weeks in the feild hunting. I can tell right away that the Kenia Lightbearing holster will stand up to years of use. Very well made. It retains my Sig Sauer p320 tightly on my chest and i don't even notice uder my bino chest pack. It is by far the best way carry a pistol while riding a horse.

The web page is not allowing me to click on 5 stars - so let me just say, definitely a 5 star product! Perfect! Config: Glock 10mm long slide G40 MOS with Streamlight TLR-8 and Primary Arms red dot sight, with suppressor height sights. Beautiful quality! Fit and retention is perfect and tight. Important: With the light removed, the holster still retains the pistol by the fit to the slide and is still plenty tight. I like the Kryptek High Altitude green pattern a LOT. Matches my painted lower nicely. Very nice and highly recommended!

Harness is fantastic. Tightened to the way I like it, there’s no bounce. Retention is excellent on the gun itself and really snaps it when holstering. I do tend to follow the video recommendations stating to place support hand on holster when drawing to keep it from moving. I do wish the light bearing for TLR 1 WMLs would find a way to cover trigger more. I can pull the trigger with relative ease while holstered. I don’t expect a shirt or clothing to find it’s way in, but if I took a fall I could see debris getting inside. Will be buying a non-light bearing shell in the future. This issue is not a GFI specific issue, but more of a Kydex holster and big WML issue so can’t knock GFI for it. Great product all around.

Just received my holster for my Glock G40 MOS with suppressor sights, RMR, and Surefire X300U. I wore it around the house for a couple of hours to try it out and it’s perfect for it’s intended purpose which will be backcountry hiking and camping. It’s totally unobtrusive and I can function without having to carry anything on my hip. This holster also works with my G20 and G21. So three pistols for one holster. I still need to test it in the field but I’m confident it will work exactly as I expect and carrying a pack won’t get in the way of drawing from the holster if necessary.
